Luke 17:3-4

So watch yourselves.  "If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him.  If he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times comes back to you and says, 'I repent,' forgive him."

These verses are a great parenting tool!  If you are trying to teach forgiveness,  you can't just say, "Jesus told us to forgive!"  You need to show them that Jesus was a real person and that He had people mistreat him, but He forgave them.  (Even if the person was Peggey)  You have to teach them to forgive continually (seven times a day), even when they don't want to.
