Twin Trivia Tuesday

Hello, everyone!  Here is some more Twin Trivia for all you twins out there.  Don't think that being a twin is the worst thing on earth (even though it does seem like it at times); but rather, look at it as an opportunity to be loving, kind, and play some great jokes!  Enjoy this section of Twin Trivia!

Prax: "Hello, we are back in the studio with another episode of Twin Trivia starring Paul and Pricilla Wilder airing live on the Worldwide Broadcasting Network with hosts, Praxton and Prudence Wilder.  Paul and Pricilla, am I correct that you are the first set of twins in your family?"
Paul: "Thank you, Praxton, and yes, Prici and I are the first set of twins in our family.  Mom and Dad adopted Patrova, our oldest sister, right before we were born."
Prax: "Fascinating.  Were you a surprise or were you expected?"
Paul: "We were expected.  They knew they were having twins and I think they knew that it was boy and girl too."
Prax: "Good.  Prue?"
Prue: "Thanks, Praxton.  So Pricilla, how was it growing up with Paul?"
Cilla: "Well, it was kinda rough, just because he always wanted the toy I had, or if mom was holding me, he wanted to be held.  So I can't say we started out the best, but we've gotten a ton better than when we were little!"
Prue: "In what way?"
Cilla: "Well, in every way!  We are best friends, we talk together, we have fun together, and we enjoy each other's company."
Prue: "That's really nice!  Prax?"
Prax: "So, Paul.  What is the most embarrassing part about being a twin?"
Paul: "Well, since we aren't identical and we are different genders, we don't get the common name mix-up; but we still get some comments.  For example, that lady at the grocery store.   When we were about six, Cill was in the cart and I was walking a couple feet ahead of the cart..."
Cilla: "More like eight feet in front of the cart!"
Paul: "Ahem......I was walking a couple feet ahead of the cart and this lady asks mom if we were twins.  Mom said yes, and asked me to come over and stay close to her.  The lady then states that we were so cute and precious and that she would like to take us home with her.  Now that was embarrassing!  Pric started crying and I thought that was the meanest thing for her to say!  Her having the nerve to call Paul Wilder cute!  Precious!  Bah humbug!  Well, she'd get it next time, boy, she'd get it!"
Prax: "I see.  Prue?"
Prue: "So Pricilla, what is the most embarrassing part for you, about being a twin?"
Cilla: "Well, it would probably be when I'm with my friends and I tell them I'm a twin, and they start giggling and ask who it is and if he's nice to me and if we fight a lot.  So it's just kind of annoying when they ask all those questions."
Prue: "Interesting."
Prax: "Well, we are out of time for tonight!  This has been a new episode of Twin Trivia starring Paul and Pricilla Wilder airing live on the Worldwide Broadcasting Network.  Thank you, Paul and Pricilla, for your time.  Be sure to and tune in next time for another new episode of Twin Trivia brought to you by your hosts, Praxton and Prudence Wilder.  Thanks for watching!"

  2. There's annoying questions that everyone asks about everything, isn't there? Homeschooling, big families, twins... being twins with Royal was interesting. We were in a foster home for a long time with another that was Royal's age, a they would always play together, so I didn't see a whole lot of him until we got adopted. Then he and I were best of friends because I'd known him longer than anybody else in the house! :)
I really enjoy these posts! Keep enjoying each other! :)

  3. Ellen,
Very creative ideas about twins that really fit their life. You need to begin your calico critter book(s). Of course, you may have to write the company and get permission, but they may want to buy your family books about all the lives you have created. Love your enthusiasm. Love, Grandma and Grandpa
