Mom and Dad

Mom and Dad, if I tried to tell you all of the things that you have done for our family, the list would be too long.  From your purity before you were married all the way until now as you welcome grandchildren into the world, you both show such love, courage, and joy.  In all of the hard circumstances, when Patrova, Paul, and Pricilla were babies, when you traveled to both Thailand and Iceland in the same year (to adopt Pelle, Pam, and Phoebe!), and when you adopted Purity Autumn and saved her life, you showed perseverance, courage, and hope.  You mean so much to all of us and are the greatest blessings in all of our lives.


At Patrova and Emmett's wedding (I know it was hard for you), but you let her go, knowing that this is what God had for her.  Letting Pricilla move to Florida and scuba dive in 'The Shark Tank' was also one of the hardest decisions for you to make, but you knew that God was calling her.  And also when you allowed Praxton to go to school in 'The Big Apple' and let him pursue his dream.  Every decision you make is made with prayer and deep consideration, and that is something we all admire greatly.  You listen to God's voice and His calling for each one of His children.  When you married, you never dreamed that God would call you to adopt 26 children from various places around the world, but you listened which resulted in 30 children who are each living for Christ.  
Mom and Dad, we love you and hope that we will spend many more years living out your motto: 

"Live for God, serve the Lord, and increase and multiply!"
